Who we are
SportsTechWest (sportstechwest.com) is run by Rashad West. We publish sports technology news, analysis and videos.
The Sportstechwest Uploader
The Sportstechwest Uploader is a private tool we use to publish our own videos. It is not offered to the public, and only the SportsTechWest team uses it.
When we sign in, the tool asks Google for permission to manage our YouTube channel. It uses that permission only to upload SportsTechWest videos, update their titles and descriptions, and post comments on our own videos.
What we collect
- Google account data. The tool keeps a sign-in token on our own computer so it can upload our videos. It does not collect, sell or share data from anyone else's Google or YouTube account.
- Messages you send us. If you contact us, we receive what you choose to send, such as your name and email address, and use it only to reply.
What we never do
- Sell personal information.
- Share Google user data with third parties.
- Use Google user data for advertising.
Google API Services
The Sportstechwest Uploader's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It also uses YouTube API Services, so the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy apply.
Your choices
You can remove any app's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To have anything you sent us deleted, email us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
